Fletcher Reese Bryant died Thursday, April 25, 1996, in Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A native of Northampton County, he was a retired farmer and member of Conway Baptist Church, serving as chairman of both the Board of Deacons and the Board of Trustees and as a of Pendleton; a sister, Alice Bryant Richey of Conway; and a dear aunt, Elizabeth Mann of Pendleton.
He was preceded in death by his son, Ralph Bryant; his parents, Robert and Lila Bryaned today at 2 p.m. in Conway Baptist Church by the Rev. James Hester. Burial will follow in Conway Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the Conway Baptist Church Elevator Fund, North Church Street, Conway. The family will be receiving friends in their home on Vaughan's Creek Road, Pendleton. Bridgers Funeral Home is in charge.
