The dredge is back at work at Rudee Inlet removing sand and pumping
it on the beach. Sand was swept into the inlet over winter,
resulting in some boats running aground while trying to navigate the
shallow channel. The $520,000 price tag is being shared by the city
and the Army Corps of Engineers. Work will be complete sometime in
May.
