Irvin Norman Jr., 44, known as ``Junior'' of ``Wolf,'' of the 7400 block of Pomona Street, died April 25, 1996, in his residence.
He was a cook at Senior Citizen Village. Born in Norfolk County, he was a member of First Baptist Church Bolling Brook, Norfolk. He was predeceased by his mother, Beatrice Norman.
Survivors include his father, Irvin Norman; four sisters, Joyce Norman, Sharon Jordan, Jacqueline Yancey and Beverly Norman, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Darrell Norman and Montze Norman, both of Norfolk; three aunts, Mary Brown, Ruth Martin, and Rosa Brown, all of Norfolk; an uncle, Raymond Norman Sr. of Virginia Beach; special friend, Mrs. Mary C. Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday by Elder Anthony D. Lillard in New Bethel C.O.G.I.C., 7317 Evelyn T. Butts Ave., Norfolk. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. A viewing will be today at E.A. Hughes Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home from 3 to 4 p.m. today. Remains will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Monday. The family will be at the residence.
