Rose Santos Zinkl died April 29, 1996, in her residence.
She was formerly employed by the Norfolk Public School System and was a native of Norfolk. Mrs. Zinkl was the widow of August Zinkl and a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Anita Z. Unger of Grosse Pointe, Mich., Dolores Z. Davis of Norfolk; son, August E. Zinkl of Norfolk; sister, Veronica Santos Hartig of Norfolk; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending. The family requests donations be made to Holy Trinity School. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
