Kathleen Ann Johnson, 46, went to heaven to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 1996.
A native of Portsmouth, Kathy had lived in Williamsburg since 1988. She was employed by Williamsburg Community Hospital in the emergency department.
She is survived by her parents, G. Richard and Sally G. Johnson of Williamsburg; her brother, Richard, and his wife, Ellen, and their children, Spencer Burgess and Taylor Hancock of North Falmouth, Mass.; and also very special friends, Carolyn and Howard Topp of Williamsburg, Va. She was predeceased by her sister, Pamela.
A memorial service was held at Greenspring Chapel on Ironbound Road on April 25, 1996, with the Rev. Robert Atkins officiating. A private inurnment will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg. In lieu of flowers, remembrance may be made to Hospice Support Care of Williamsburg, 312 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, Va., 23188, or to Emergency Care Center of Williamsburg Community Hospital, 301 Monticello Ave., Williamsburg, Va. 23185. Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, is in charge.
