Annie Elizabeth Hamlin, 60, of 8-10 27th Ave., died April 23, 1996, in Mount Sinai Hospital, New York.
She had worked as an Avon representative for 10 years. Mrs. Hamlin was a former member of Jerusalem Baptist Church, Norfolk, and was a native of Belhaven, N.C.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Clarence Hamlin of Astoria; two daughters, Mrs. Val Hairston and Mrs. Karen Gatling; two sons, Mr. Erwin Hamlin and Mr. Ronnie Hamlin; her mother, Mrs. Lucille Barber; her father, Mr. Henry R. Barber; two sisters, Mrs. Sandra Etheridge and Mrs. Allison Hopkins; a brother, Mr. Henry M. Barber; four grandsons, Raymond Hairston Jr., Erwin Hamlin Jr., Andre Gatling, and Jaleel Gatling; and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral was conducted April 27, 1996, in First Reformed Church of Astoria, by Elder Mitchell G. Taylor. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake, today at noon. E. A. Hughes Funeral Home is in charge.
