CARMELO PECORARO

Carmelo Pecoraro, 69, of the 1100 block of First Colonial Road, died April 30, 1996, at a local hospital.

He was Catholic by faith and was a member of the American Legion and honorably served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He is survived by a daughter, Linda A. Ehle of Virginia Beach; a son, Jerry L. Pecoraro of Louisville, Ky. He is also survived by two grandchildren.

A Mass of Resurrection will be at the Church of the Holy Family, 1279 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach, at 5 p.m., May 1, 1996. The Celebrant will be Father Richard Mooney. Burial will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Quantico National Cemetery with full military honors. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
