FOUR-DAY GREEK FESTIVAL IN NORFOLK STARTS TODAY LIVE IT UP

A few weeks after Norfolk's Azalea Festival - the granddaddy of Hampton Roads municipal bust outs - comes the exuberant Greek Festival sponsored by Annunication Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

The four-day festival, at 7220 Granby St. in Norfolk, begins today (with a senior-citizen discount on food-line servings) and ends at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Once again, thousands of lucky Hampton Roads residents will feast on exotic Greek cuisine to the strains of throbbing Greek music. Greek dances, arts and crafts and a cooking school are on the agenda. The motto of the ancient Greeks was ``nothing in excess,'' but for the duration of this celebration an exception seems in order.
