Mrs. Inez Raby, of the 400 block of Nicholson St., died April 29, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
She was the widow of Mr. Charlie Raby Sr. She was a member for over 30 years of St. Mary's Holy Mount Christian Church, Norfolk, where she served on the usher board.
She is survived by a daughter, Wilhemene Cox of Norfolk; two sons, Curtis Samuel and Charlie Raby Jr., both of Norfolk, and she was predeceased by a third son, Eugene Samuel; two sisters, Martha Dixon and Martha J. Cox; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riddick Funeral Service. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held Friday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.
