Master Firefighter Bobby Myers will be participating in KIDfest '96 Saturday at First Baptist Church. His name was spelled incorrectly in a photo caption in The Beacon May 1.
The May Farm Garden Club initiated a landscaping project at King's Grant Elementary School and was responsible for getting a $500 grant from Shell Oil. A story in The Beacon April 26 did not explain that. Club members Julie Peperak, Ruth Salmon and Pat Cameron were the co-chairmen of the project. by CNB
