JOHN COSGROVE FOR MAYOR

This is a comment to the article on ``Who is John Cosgrove.''

I know John Cosgrove and I would like to tell all the folks in Chesapeake a little about him. John is married and has two children. Mr. Cosgrove is a man with values like most residents of Chesapeake.

Mr. Cosgrove attends Sunday school and church services regularly and encourages the entire family to participate in church activities. He also served his country in the military and is a Naval reservist. Mr. Cosgrove also coaches little league football for the Chesapeake recreation.

To me, John Cosgrove is one of the best neighbors a person could have. John Cosgrove would do anything for you at the drop of a hat. John Cosgrove has the same views as do many residents of Chesapeake and I believe he will work very hard to reach the goals set forth as he does with everything else he does. Over-developed neighborhoods, overcrowding of schools and not enough playgrounds for our children to play in are just a few important problems we face in Chesapeake that Mr. Cosgrove has sworn to do everything he can to cure.

I am a professional firefighter for the city of Norfolk, and I know John Cosgrove takes his commitment to city Fire, EMS,and police personel seriously. I am not behind John Cosgrove because he is a friend and a neighbor, I will vote for John Cosgrove because he is going to tackle the same views that I think the majority of the citizens of Chesapeake are concerned with the most. I hope and urge everyone to join me and vote for John Cosgrove for mayor of Chesapeake on May 7th.
