BURLEE HEDGEPETH

Burlee Hedgepeth, 77, a resident of 9415 Dinky Circle in Windsor, died Thursday May 2, 1996, at Louise Obici Memorial Hospital in Suffolk.

He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church. A native of Isle of Wight County, he was the son of the late George and Nancy Darden Hedgepeth. He was the husband of the late Ida Mae A. Hedgepeth.

He is survived by a son, C. Larry Hedgepeth of Windsor; two daughters, Peggy H. Courtright of Colonial Heights and Carolyn H. Piland of Zuni; a brother, Darden W. Hedgepeth of Zuni; and six grandchildren, Randy and Renee Hedgepeth, Michelle and Chris Courtright and Eric and Richie Piland.

A graveside service will be held in Windsor Cemetery Saturday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. John P. Hartman. The family will receive friends at Purviance Funeral Home, Wakefield, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the residence of Larry Hedgepeth, Hidden Acres, 103 Weaver Court, Windsor.
