Sallie Mae Eason Freuler Workmen, 74, of the 500 block of Mulligan Drive, died May 1, 1996, at home.
She was Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her former husband, William H. Freuler.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Townsend of Virginia Beach and Katy Barnes of Roanoke Rapids, N.C.; four sisters, Ruby Weiss, Mary Moore, Dorothy Bland and Dolly Denver; and one brother, William Eason Jr.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Church of God in Roanoke Rapids, N.C., at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 1996, with the Rev. Richard Wiliford presiding. Flowers can be sent to the church on Saturday. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
