ANNIE HINTON

Annie Hinton of the 2300 block of Poyner Lane died May 1, 1996, in a local hospital.

She was a retired schoolteacher for Norfolk Public Schools. She was a native of Princess Anne County, Va. She was the widow of Hugh Hinton, and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Virginia Beach. She was the daughter of the late Oscar Miller and Lillie Williams Miller.

She is survived by two aunts, Margaret Davis of Virginia Beach and Bertha Dozier of Virginia Beach; an uncle, Lloyd Williams of Virginia Beach; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday by the Rev. John Hardy in Graves Funeral Home Chapel, Norfolk. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at the residence on the day of the service.
