ROBERT L. BASS

Robert Louis ``Bob'' Bass, 47, of 1946 Paradise Road, died Tuesday, April 30, 1996.

Born in Michigan, Mr. Bass was a son of Mrs. Lola Allan Bass of Edenton, and the late Herbert Edward Bass, and the husband of the late Brenda White Bass. Mr. Bass was the retired owner/operator of the Paradise Gardens Nursery in Edenton. He was a member of the Edenton Baptist Church.

Surviving other than his mother are his three daughters, Robin Bass Gowers of Salt Lake City, Utah, Kellee Bass Clark of St. George, Utah, Susan Bass of Edenton; two sons, Michael Bass and John Watson ``J.W.'' Bass, both of Edenton; two brothers, William Edward ``Bill'' Bass and James Herbert ``Jim'' Bass, both of Edenton; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Edenton Baptist Church with burial following in the Beaver Hill Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Home in Edenton today from 7 to 9 p.m.
