WATSON E. WHITE

Watson Earl White, 74, of 2203 Paradise Road, died Tuesday, April 30, 1996.

A native of Chowan County, Mr. White was a son of the late Watson Bryant and Isa Mae Bunch White, and the husband of Ruth Perry White of the home. Mr. White was a retired farm supervisor and a member of the Rocky Hock Baptist Church.

Surviving other than his wife are two daughters, Mrs. Bill (Jill) Lewis of Spring Hope, N.C., and Mrs. Billy (Nell) Long of Aydlett, N.C.; his son, Bryant, and his wife, Cathy White of Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Evelyn Parker of Sunbury, N.C., Mary Long and Clara Perry, both of Hertford, N.C., and Barbara ``Bobbie'' Stillman of Edenton; two brothers, Wallace ``Cowboy'' White and the Rev. Robert White, both of Edenton; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Edenton Baptist Church with burial following in the Beaver Hill Cemetery with military honors. The family will be receiving friends at the Evans Funeral Home in Edenton today from 7 to 9 p.m.
