Frances May Flynn Rowe, 68, of the 4900 block of Orleans Drive, died May 2, 1996, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Rowe, a native of Portsmouth, was a retired sales clerk from the W.T. Grant Co. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence B. Rowe; two sons, Ron B. Rowe of Raleigh, N.C., Donnie G. Rowe of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mary Catherine Sisco of Houston, Texas, Mildred A. Flynn of Chesapeake; a brother, William T. Flynn Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren, Ryan Rowe, Sean Rowe, Michael Rowe, all of Raleigh, Jason Rowe and Brittany Rowe, both of Portsmouth.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Meadowbrook Mausoleum Chapel by Father Joseph Slowik. Entombment will follow. The family will be at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth, today from 7 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
