Cedric L. Hines, 34, of the 1900 block of Lincoln St., died April 27, 1996.
He was a member of St. James Church of God in Christ and was a peacetime Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Kendall Hines; daughter, Jasmine Hines; parents, Ozzie Hines and Matthew Hines; seven sisters, Priscilla Birden, Regina Wynn, Gloria McMillan, Geraldine Reid, Cynthia Blackwell Jr., Eudell Williams and Angela Saylor; two brothers, Matthew Hines Jr. and Stewart Hines.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by Elder Theodore Cutler at Macedonia Church of God in Christ. The family will be at 3803 Stateflower Court, Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the procession. Burial will be in Lincoln Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
