Inez Hobbs Moore, 77, died May 3, 1996, in a Virginia Beach Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Z. Moore and a daughter, Judy Moore Harrison. She was a member and past deaconess of Bayside Christian Church and a former member of the Windflower Circle of the King's Daughters. She retired from Sears as a division manager after 21 years and was an active member of Sears Tidewater Retiree Club.
She is survived by a son, Charles Byron ``C.B.'' Moore and his wife Kathy of Franklin; a daughter, Brenda M. Williams of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren, David Oden, Dean Harrison, Steven Harrison, Lisa Moore, Michelle O. Lane, and Deborah O. Brandt; three great-grandchildren, Kevin Lane, Courtney Oden and Matthew Harrison. She is also survived by a dearly beloved niece, Jeanne Dorsey of Alexandria, Va.; and two great-nephews, Timothy Dorsey of Norfolk and James Dorsey III, of Alexandria.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 1996, at Bayside Christian Church by the Rev. Raymond Good and the Rev. Thomas Britton. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of Bayside Christian Church, 2224 Greenwell Road, Virginia Beach, Va. 23455.
