It seemed that the oil companies had run out of schemes to fleece the public in providing a very vital commodity. But not so; they are once again contriving a scheme for greed alone. There is no justifiable excuse for this new round of robbery at the gas pump. Oil supplies at the source are up.
There was a time when I thought I would be happy to see the last drop of gas pumped. But I have now concluded that the only real satisfaction could be to see all the oil barons realize that the last drop has been pumped.
The public does not deserve to be bilked this way.
