BLANCHE F. WOOD

Blanche Frances Wood, 81, of the 1500 block of Mill Dam Road, a homemaker, died May 4, 1996, in her residence.

A native of Pennsylvania, she was a homemaker and the widow of Ernest R. Wood. Mrs. Wood was a member of Star of the Sea Catholic Church and a former choir member, and was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Fleet Reserve.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances ``Fran'' W. Wood of Virginia Beach; two sons, Ernest R. Wood Jr. of Savannah, Ga., and Joseph A. Wood of Virginia Beach; a sister, Vera Sullivan of Philadelphia; a brother, Kenneth Goodyear of Ormond Beach, Fla.; and four granddaughters.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Star of the Sea Catholic Church by Father William V. Sullivan. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel.
