Eugene S. Poole, 69, died May 5, 1996, at his residence.
He was a retired sales manager for Smith, Kline and Beecham. Mr. Poole was also a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Karen S. Sullivan of Virginia Beach, Cheryl A. Hackett of Elida, Ohio; son, Allen Poole of Manteo, N.C.; and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Paul D. Moore in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the M.P.S. Society, 17 Kraemer St., Hicksville, N.Y., 11801, for Sanfilippo Research for Maggie and Keegan Hackett. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is in charge.
