CLIFTON HANNAH

Clifton ``Bud'' Hannah died May 4, 1996.

He was a retired welding instructor for the Norfolk Naval Depot and a native of Pitt County, N.C.

He was survived by his wife, Pauline Hannah; four daughters, Lorrie Hannah of North Carolina, Jane Whitaker of Bethel, N.C., Diane Dixon of Grimesland, N.C. and Carolyn Persinger of Virginia Beach; and one son, Clifton Hannah Jr. of North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Anita Holmes and Bonnie Beach of Virginia; one stepson, Marshall Beach of Virginia; three sisters, Alice Cannon of Norfolk, Delphia Beacham and Lula Beacham of Greenville, N.C.; three brothers, Roy Hannah of Raleigh, N.C., Jasper Hannah of Lowland, N.C. and Linwood Hannah of Leland, N.C.; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held May 7, 1996.
