Charles H. McCarthy Jr., 77, of the 1400 block of Wilroy Road, died May 8, 1996, at his residence.
A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Charles H. and Elizabeth M. Leist McCarthy. He was a World War II Army veteran and was of the Catholic religion.
He is survived by his wife, Madeline Mary McCarthy; a daughter, Linda Mary Rider of Deep Creek; a son, Charles H. McCarthy III of Patchogue, Long Island, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by Father Thomas B. Nee. The family will receive friends in the Baker-Foster Funeral Home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
