HURLEY M. FAULKNER

Hurley M. Faulkner, born Nov. 26, 1928, in Alton, Va., departed this life April 17, 1996.

Mr. Faulkner began a photography career during his years in the U.S. Army. He then worked as a photojournalist for the Norfolk Journal and Guide and taught at Norfolk State University for 28 years.

He leaves a wife, Lydia D. Faulkner; one daughter, Charla Nanette; his mother, Nannie B. Faulkner; and a host of relatives and friends. Contributions may be send to the Hurley M. Faulkner/L. Wesley Chatman Scholarship Fund at Norfolk State University.
