HUGH N. OLD JR.

Hugh Nathaniel Old Jr., 60, of the 1000 block of Back Road, died Wednesday, May 8, 1996.

Mr. Old was born in Norfolk and was the son of the late Hugh Nathaniel Old Sr. and Elizabeth Thomas Old. He retired from the stock department of the Ford Motor Company, Norfolk plant, after 34 years of service. He was a member of Great Bridge United Methodist Church and also was a charter member. He was a member of Great Bridge Masonic Lodge (NU)157 and a former board member of Norfolk Assembly Employees Federal Credit Union.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Lee Palmer Old; three sons, Michael Kent Old, Dale Nathaniel Old and his wife, Cindy, Troy Patrick Old and his wife, LeeAnn, all of Chesapeake; two sisters, Doris Davis and her husband, Robert Lee Davis of Farmville, Va. and Shirley Bennett and her husband, Bill Bennett of Winter Haven, Fla. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, uncle, and a friend to all who will be greatly missed.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, by the Rev. Robert C. Hastings and the Rev. Charles L. Moseley. Interment will be in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens with Masonic rites. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
