After selling 13 million copies of their debut album, ``Cracked Rear View,'' Hootie & the Blowfish will return to Hampton Roads for an Aug. 6 show at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater.
Tickets go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday at all Ticketmaster outlets, or can be charged by calling 671-8100. Tickets are $25 for covered seats, $22.50 for lawn seating. The Continental Drifters will open the show.
The South Carolina band released a new album, ``Fairweather Johnson,'' last month; it is No. 1 on the Billboard chart. The first album's singles, ``Hold My Hand'' and ``Only Wanna Be With You,'' are still all over the radio, even as the first single from the new album, ``The Old Man & Me,'' is being added to playlists.
Tickets also go on sale at noon Saturday for the July 9 Dwight Yoakam show. Tickets are $27.75, $19.75 and $14.75.
And the amphitheater has added another show, with '70s rockers Styx and Kansas. The show is at 7:30 p.m. July 13. Tickets are $24.75, $19.75, $12.75; on sale beginning at 10 a.m. today. ILLUSTRATION: Hootie & the Blowfish released a new album, ``Fairweather
