Margaret Hanna Brothers, 75, of the 1800 block of Camelot Drive, died May 5, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Brothers retired as a secretary from Virginia Electric and Power Co. She was a bookkeeper/secretary for the Rotary Club in the 1960s. Mrs. Brothers was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Brothers Denyes, and her husband, Jim, of Virginia Beach, and Susan Ford Hamre of Santa Fe, N.M.; three grandsons, Milton, Will, and Owen Matter, all of Virginia Beach; a niece, Jayce Wolfram of Chesapeake; and a nephew, Mike Griffin of Vero Beach, Fla.
A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 7 p.m. in Virginia Beach United Methodist Church, 18th Street and Pacific Avenue, by the Rev. Clark Mandigo. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
