Joyce Ann ``Boo-Boo'' Williams, 38, of the 2000 block of Atlanta Ave., died May 8, 1996, in Norfolk Sentara Hospital.
She was a component lab technician for the Red Cross and a native of Portsmouth. She was a former member of St. John Baptist Church.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Morris Williams Jr.; two sons, Jamal C. Williams and Marcus C. Williams, both of Portsmouth; her mother, Florie M. Edwards and her father, Joe Lee Edwards; four sisters, Francis Franklin of Portsmouth, Joan McDonald of Portsmouth, Debra Lewis of Roselle, N.J. and Bridgett Edwards of Virginia Beach; two brothers, James M. Edwards of Portsmouth and Joe L. Edwards of Portsmouth; grandmother, Louise Edwards of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today by the Rev. Spencer Riddick in St. John Baptist Church, Portsmouth. Burial is in Lincoln Memorial Park. Family and friends will assemble at 2020 Atlanta Ave. at 1:15 p.m. for the procession to the church. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge.
