The Rev. David Daniels, left, pastor of the Outer Banks Worship
Center, and Renee Cahoon, mayor of Nags Head, inspect a softball
field adjacent to the Nags Head church that is undergoing
renovation. The town agreed to pay Daniels a $10,000 fee for the use
of the field for seven years. Daniels said the money will be used
for maintenance and improvements, including a new sprinkler systm
and planting grass.
