HENRY FLUTY

Henry Fluty, 72, died May 12, 1996 in Norfolk.

Mr. Fluty was born in Lawrence County, Ky., and was a member of Emily Northup Baptist Church in Louisa, Ky. He was retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 4; Veterans of Foreign Wars; Ocean View Golf Association; and Elizabeth Masonic Lodge (NU)34 AF & AM.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Lambert Fluty; three sisters, Pauline Fluty of Louisa, Ky., Glenedith Plumley of Los Alamos, N.M., and Macil Preece of Chesapeake; and two brothers, William David Fluty of Ocala, Fla. and Chester Ray Fluty of Pataskala, Ohio.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. Burial will be in Preece Cemetery, Louisa, Ky. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today to receive friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to Spurgeon Memorial Baptist Church.
