Clauduist Oral ``Trip'' Lambert III, 29, a native of Virginia Beach, died May 12, 1996, at his home in Richmond.
Trip attended public schools in Virginia Beach and graduated from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg. He conducted extensive research in the field of psychology at William and Mary and NASA.
Trip is survived by his father, C. Oral Lambert Jr. of Virginia Beach; his mother, Carol Gay Lambert of Richmond; his sister, Natalie Lambert Gould; brother-in-law, Dr. Randolph J. Gould; niece, Lindsay Gould; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ruby Rock of Virginia Beach; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas W. Rosser of Norfolk; aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Walter J. ``Patsy'' Moore of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at Virginia Beach United Methodist Church on Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Dr. Paul C. Bailey and Rabbi Lawrence A. Forman. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution to a charity of choice.
