Roy Murray Jr., 69, of Inverness, Fla., died Tuesday, May 7, 1996.
Mr. Murray was born in Van Lear, Ky. He lived in Norfolk for more than 30 years. Mr. Murray was a retired marine machinist, World War II Navy veteran and a member of the Fleet Reserve at Large.
Mr. Murray is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Keister Murray of Inverness; two sons, Raymond Murray of Norfolk and Michael Murray of Chesapeake; two daughters, Miss Pamela Murray of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Susan Hiers of Richmond; and three grandsons.
Services were held at Hooper Funeral Home in Inverness. His remains will rest in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va.
