JESSE PRINCE

Jesse Prince, 73, of the 900 block of Haledon Road, died May 13, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.

He was a retired supervisor for Globe Iron Construction Company, where he had worked for 38 years. He was a native of Quinwood, W.Va., and was the widower of Marceline Brooks Prince. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Pearl Harbor Survivors.

He is survived by a son, Michael Jesse Prince and his wife, Patsy Prince, of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Michelle Eastep and her husband, Scott Eastep, Loretta Williams, Angela Prince and Melissa Prince; and two great-grandsons, Erick Eastep and Norman Peterson. He was predeceased by a daughter, Alice Prince Williams.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Donald R. Joyner in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m.
