Pearl J.A. Fentress, died May 10, 1996, in New York City.

She was a native of Isle of Wight County, Va., and she was a Catholic.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Fentress; sister, Mary A. Lewis; three brothers, Spurgeon Almond, Herman Almond, King S. Almond; a grandchild, Daniel Fentress; an aunt, Onetia B. Fullwood of Portsmouth; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
