Fannie B. Eley, 60, of Seacock Chappell Road, entered into eternal rest Saturday, May 11, 1996, at Obici Memorial Hospital.
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted husband, George E. Eley Sr.; three sons, George E. Eley Jr. and Reginald Eley of Zuni, and Michael Eley of Prince George, Va.; four daughters, Joyce Paige of Portsmouth, Cynthia E. Warren of Sedley, Sharon Joyner of Franklin and the Rev. Brenda Clark of Zuni; four sisters, Irene LittleJohn, Roberta Wilson and Lorraine Roundtree, all of Suffolk, and Bernice Elam of Zuni; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shiloh Baptist Church by the Rev. James Elam Sr. Internment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Eley will lie in state today at 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home in Franklin. Services of comfort are entrusted to McClenny Funeral Service Inc. of Charlottesville, Va.
