Willa Dean Roberson Bridger, 65, of Main Street, died May 12, 1996, in Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Bridger was the daughter of the late Walter Quay Roberson and Minnie Lee Meese Roberson. She was a native of Bradley County, Cleveland, Tenn. Mrs. Bridger was an artist and homemaker. She was a member of Gatesville Methodist Church and the Gates County Chapter Order of The Eastern Star (NU)335.
She is survived by her husband, Simon Paul Bridger; three daughters, Renee B. Marshburm of Ahoskie, Robin B. Winslow of Sunbury and Rhonda Bridger of the home; two sisters, Barbara A. McLain of Cleveland, Tenn. and Martha S. Wolfe of Cleveland, Tenn.; and three grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gates County Rescue Squad. Harrell Funeral Home, Gatesville, is in charge of the arrangements.
