Jerry M. Cowan Sr., 67, of the 500 block of Roosevelt Blvd., died May 13, 1996.
Mr. Cowan, a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, was born in Woodville, N.C. He was a member of Noble Street Baptist Church and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Annie C. Cowan; and two sons, Jerry M. Cowan Jr. and Lynwood W. Cowan.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Ronnie T. Northam Sr. at Noble Street Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge.
