Michael F. Sokolowski, 73, of the 4000 block of Scotfield Dr., died May 13, 1996, in a local hospital.
He retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a supervisor of non-destructive testing. He served honorably in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Sophia Sokolowski. He is survived by his wife, Olga; a daughter, Diane Gulley of Santa Barbara, Calif.; a stepson, Michael Janiak of Salem, Mass.; and a sister, Blanche Maslowski of Chelsea, Mass. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services are pending. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
