Betty Jean Brown, 52, of the 500 block of Stafford St., died May 11, 1996. She was born in Norfolk.
Survivors include her husband, Elbert Brown; a son, Warren Brown of Norfolk; her mother, Gloria Lewis of Norfolk; a brother, Johnnie Lewis Jr. of Norfolk; a sister-in-law, Barbara Lewis of Norfolk; grandmother, Lillie Evans of Newark, N.J.; grandchildren, Warren Jackson, Andre Jackson, Kaune Jackson, Candice Jones and Ralph Jones, all of Norfolk; a special friend, Benard Martin of Norfolk; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Johnnie Lewis.
The funeral will be held at noon Thursday at Pretlow and Sons' Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
