Henry A. Moore, 88, of the 1300 block of West 42nd St., died May 13, 1996, in his residence.
He was a retired stevedore operator for the Naval Operating Base. He was a native of James City, N.C., and a member of First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point.
He is survived by his wife, Etta Moore, and his son, Arthur Smith of Chesapeake.
A funeral will be conducted at noon on Saturday in First Baptist Church, Lamberts Point, Norfolk, by the Rev. Anthony Paige, pastor. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the funeral time. T.E. Cooke-Twilight Funeral Home is in charge.
