Kenneth C. Myers, of the 500 block of Norcom Circle, died May 13, 1996, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.
He was a fiberglass repairman for Columbia Yacht Company, where he had worked for 15 years. He was a native of Norfolk County and a former member of First Baptist Church Gilmerton, Chesapeake. He was a graduate of Crestwood High School and attended Vorhees Junior College.
He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Myers; three daughters, Jean Bradley of Portsmouth, Sharon Jeter and Pamaela Norman, both of Chesapeake; two sons, Larry Bradley of St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and Donald Bradley of Portsmouth; sister, Arlene Frye of Chesapeake; six brothers, Curtis Myers, Joseph Myers, and James Myers, all of Chesapeake, Donald Myers of Rockville, Md., Charles Myers of Hillcrest, Md. and Everette Myers of Hampton, Va.; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Edward Smith in First Baptist Church Gilmerton, Chesapeake. Burial is in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Friday.
