Emma Lee James, of the 700 block of West 35th St., died May 13, 1996.
She was a nurse and a native of Mississippi. Mrs. James was the widow of David T. James. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk, where she was a member of the senior choir.
She is survived by her god son, Kasalm D. Hill of Patterson, N.J.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Dr. John Foster in Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk. Burial is in Forrest Lawn Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing Thursday at 4 p.m. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. for the procession. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is in charge.
