RAY P. FOX

Ray P. Fox, 80, of Michaelwood Drive, died May 16, 1996, in his residence.

He was a retired officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves and a training device program administrator with the Navy for 28 years. He was a native of Oil City, Pa., and a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Mr. Fox was a graduate of Penn State University and received his Naval Commission at Notre Dame University.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Churchill Fox; daughter, Frances Fox Woodley of Chesapeake; son, Louis Ray Fox of Assonet, Mass.; two sisters, Geraldine Brown of Oil City, Pa., Jean Bohn of Morristown, N.J.; five grandchildren, Jonathan Fox, Carolyn Fox, Michael Fox, all of Assonet, Mass., Ray Baldwin of Norfolk, Laura Baldwin of N. Lauderdale, Fla.; and a great-grandchild, Zachery Brendle.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Saturday by Father James Noto in St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Burial is in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Prayers will begin at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, today at 7 p.m. where the family will receive friends until 8:30 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Leukemia Association.
