FREDDIE ABRAMSON

Freddie Abramson, 70, of the 1600 block of Longdale Drive, died May 16, 1996, in a local hospital.

Mr. Abramson was a native of Norfolk. He was the widower of Selma Abramson. He was a graduate of the University of Virginia. Mr. Abramson was the retired owner of Colonial Insurance Agency with over 40 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Temple Israel in Norfolk.

Survivors include his mother, Leah T. Abramson of Norfolk; two daughters, Andee Lynn Abramson of San Francisco, Calif., and Suzanne Dee Abramson of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, Peter M. Abramson of Norfolk; two sisters, Helene Klavans and her husband, Daniel of Palm Beach, Fla., and Norma Herzberg of Norfolk; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. today in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Michael E. Panitz and Cantor Yael Fischman. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2730 Ellsmere Ave., Norfolk, Va., 23513. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel are handling the arrangements.
