MARIA P. DAUS

Maria P. Daus died May 15, 1996, in her residence.

Mrs. Daus, a native of the Philippines, retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She lived in Norfolk for most of her life. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, The Baguio Fil-Am Club of Tidewater, United Ilocano Association, The Pangasinan Association, and Fil-Am Women's Club.

Survivors include her husband, Remigio ``Romy'' Daus; a daughter, Arlene Daus Willis and her husband, John Willis of Charlotte, N.C.; a son, Gem Daus of Arlington, Va.; a grandson, Spenser Manly Willis of Charlotte; and a host of relatives and friends.

A Liturgy of Resurrection will be conducted at 8 p.m. today by Father Lou Ruoff and Father Leo Manalo at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today. The family will go in procession to the cemetery on Saturday morning from Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
