David L. Goodson, 32, of the 3500 block of Vimy Ridge Ave., died May 16, 1996, at his residence.
Mr. Goodson, an Episcopalian, was born in Spearman, Texas. He was a successful individual who rose from adversity to have a successful career in the U.S. Navy. Upon leaving the service, he was a systems analyst with Caci International Inc. until his retirement. He was a friend to many and will be missed.
He is survived by his adopted family, Paula and Charlie Miller, and their children, Craig and Cherika Miller. He is also survived by his mother and father, Weldon W. and Gloria Goodson of Texas; three brothers; and four sisters.
The body is being sent to Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Spearman for a funeral and burial. Visitation will be in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the National AIDS Foundation.
