A traffic dispute at an intersection ended in gunfire Thursday that left a car riddled with bullet holes, but no one was injured.
The driver of the car that was shot up apparently angered the people in another car when she turned left in front of them at the intersection of 40th Street and Bowdens Ferry Road.
Words were exchanged at the intersection and the woman drove off to her apartment nearby. The men followed and more words were exchanged in the parking lot, witnesses said.
Moments after the woman went in her apartment, about 2:15 p.m., a series of gunshots rang out. The windows of the car were shattered, large holes were left in the doors and side panels. Some bullets tore through seats inside the vehicle.
The men then fled.
Police have made no arrests.
