ARLEDA J. PLUMMER

Arleda J. Plummer, of the 4000 block of Bishops Place, departed this life Tuesday, May 14, 1996.

She was the wife of the late Edward Warren Plummer Sr. and a native Norfolkian. She was a retiree of the Norfolk Public School System.

She is survived by two sons, Edward Plummer of Norfolk and Chauncey Plummer of Dallas, Texas; and a daughter, Deborah Plummer of Portsmouth; two brothers, Frederick and Elwood Mercer of New York, N.Y.; a devoted son-in-law-to-be, Edmond Wright; four grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral service will be held Monday at noon at Graves Funeral Home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at 4119 Bishops Place, Portsmouth. Graves Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
