Gloria L. Jones, 57, died May 17, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
She was a retired computer analyst for the Naval Supply Center, where she had worked for 25 years until she retired in 1992. She was a native of Camden, S.C., and was a member of Coleman Place Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by two sons, Alan K. Jones and Scott Jones, both of Virginia Beach; her mother, Virginia Davis Lynch of Norfolk; a sister, Hester L. Waterfield of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Douglas Ray Lynch of Chesapeake and Steven Lynch of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Meagan and Morgan Jones, both of Virginia Beach; and an uncle, LeRoy Davis of Virginia Beach. She was predeceased by her father, Douglas C. Lynch.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Larry Miles in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times, the family will be at 2429 Woolsey St., Norfolk. The family suggests memorials to the Coleman Place Presbyterian Church.
